Curriculum and medium of instruction
The medium of instruction is English which the International Language of today is. Bengali/Hindi, however, occupies a vital place in the curriculum and is taught daily, at a very high standard. The complete curriculum comprises English literature, English Language, Mathematics, Bengali, Hindi, History/ Civics, Geography/Economics, Physical Education, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, 3rd Language, Computer Science, Political Science, Sociology, Commercial Studies, Business Mathematics and Principles of Accounts. Well equipped Pre Nursery Class is provided for children between three years. Education through the play-way method is important to them. Great emphasis is put on reading, punctuation, writing and vocabulary. Discipline, behavior and etiquette are inculcated in the children. General knowledge, Moral Science / Handwriting, Spelling Dictation, Rhymes, S.U.P.W.
Science Laboratories
There are three spacious and modern science Laboratories. They are all equipped with the latest testing equipment.
Library
The School has a well-stocked library with a spacious reading hall.
Moral Education
To inculcate moral values among students, the School provides moral Education Class, arrange social work programs, and undertake afforestation schemes, medical checkups, cloth distribution camps, etc.
Computer Lab
Beginning from Class I, Computer Education is an integral part of the School Curriculum.
Games and Sports
The school has facilities for different games and sports under the guidance of expert physical trainers and sportsmen. Once in a year Annual Sports Meet is held.
Other Activities
Besides games and sports, other activities like Debate, Quiz, Sit and Draw, Extempore, Elocution, Dance and Music, Education as excursion, Essay Competition are conducted throughout the academic session.
